Slice your onion and place on the bottom of your slow cooker or crockpot. Place your pork shoulder in your slow cooker fat side down. Sprinkle your spice mix generously over the pork Add the liquid smoke. Cover the pork and cook it for 8-10 hours based on your slow cooker. After it is cooked remove the bone. Place the meat on a board and shred it with two forks. Serve it non a bun or on its own. Add bbq sauce if you like. Bon Appetit.
