Shrimp Scampi, Sirlon Stir Fry and More

Shrimp scampi in a restaurant is delicious, and mine was no exception. Fairway had a sale on cleaned and peeled shrimp. I made them in a garlic and lemon sauce and served them with pasta. My daughter loved it.I also made her my mothers beef brisket, and she enjoyed it very much. The night before I left I made a stir fry with a sirloin steak and many vegetables.  All the recipes are posted on the bonappetitmom recipes page. It was a very busy week, getting my daughter ready to go back to school. It has also snowed and I made roasted vegetable cous cous.  Between all the activity during the day, I just did not have the gusto to put this all down. Then a foot of snow and two days worth of shoveling, and missing my daughter left me in a depressed state of mind. It is 8° F  and a good time to blog. It is now a few days later. It is still very cold and I am still shoveling snow. I am also getting ready to go to Florida for my dad’s surgery. Back to food. I made a wonderful saute of fresh spinach and garlic. My daughter loved it. I finally made the cod. I topped it with evoo, lemon juice and panko breadcrumbs.  I also finished up the fresh broccoli florets  by roasting them in the oven with evoo, salt, pepper, crushed garlic and panko bread crumbs. It was yummy.  All my recipes will soon be posted. Stay safe my fans and Bon Appetit.
