Another wonderful meal at Snaps
Tonight I introduced my friend Barbara to Snaps for their $5.oo chicken. Snaps is so good that the one salty meal could not and did not overshadow the wonderful meals that I have had there. We both ordered the $5.00 chicken. It is a half of a chicken cut in four pieces. It is prepared in a sweet buttermilk bath and fried to perfection. The chicken is moist and juicy.It is never greasy. It is fantastic. I wonder if the chicken is put in a brine before it is cooked? One day I will ask the chef. We also ordered the truffle mac and cheese. It is prepared with cremini mushrooms and topped with crushed potato chips. It is creamy and decadent. We skipped dessert. The desserts are very good especially the key lime pie. Another time. We can not wait for Thursday night and $5.oo Snap burgers. I do love Snaps. It is such a friendly place to go. We had a really nice time. Tomorrow it is off to SUNY New Paltz to get my daughter. I have a funny feeling I will be at Snaps tomorrow night again. Stay safe my fans and Bon Appetit.
