Family Reunion
Last night I went to Tony Napoli in Manhattan for a cousins reunion. It was great to see my cousins and their families. My daughter was in school and could not come in. My cousins daughters have grown in to beautiful and wonderful young ladies, and my cousins little girl is growing up so fast. My aunt was there as well. Alright for the food. It was delicious. The salad was great. Crisp and not over dressed. The food was Italian food at its finest. My cousin ordered in advance. After the salad was baked clams and fried calamari. It was fresh and delicious. The main dishes consisted of veal Marsala, chicken parmagania, eggplant parmagania, penne with vodka, seafood pasta, and pasta with eggplant. Each dish was fresh and delicious. The veal Marsala was fork tender and was loaded with mushrooms. The eggplant parm was delicious. The tomato sauce was great. It was sweet and not acidic, as I did not have a heartburn attack. The deserts were a platter of tiramisu, cannolis, and Italian cheesecake. The cannolis were crisp and filled with a wonderful creme. The cheesecake was also good. It was Italian cheesecake which is drier than NY style cheesecake. It was delicious. It was a wonderful night being with my family. It is so infrequent that we can all get together. Great food and great family. A great night. Stay safe my fans and Bon Appetit.
