It is still cold in LI that I cleaned my oven and cooked
It is really cold in NY. It has not gone above 20° today. I cleaned my oven which warmed the house. Today I made turkey meatballs. This time I added a few tablespoons of sherry wine. I find that wine brings out the depth of flavor in food. Since I am not drinking today, I consume the wine through my food. It is the same recipe that is in my recipe page (it will be in my recipe page once I learn how to do it). I just finished eating dinner with Mr. Max. It is true, everything tastes better with butter. It is also true that everything tastes better with an alcoholic beverage. I am not sure about baked goods. However I am sure it would be equally as fine there too. The meatballs were so good with that small hit of sherry. Mr. Max liked them too. I was really surprised. Today I watched 3 chefs on the Food Network make Zamboni. It looks easy to do. I want to try that one day. I might try it this weekend. It is going to snow. They say it will be a nothing storm but I have heard that before. Anyway that is all for now.
