Eating Healthy

I have so many recipes for healthy food.  I have 20 recipes alone for ground turkey. I have recipes for salads, chicken and chili.  I can bang out a meal in no time, and it will be healthy.  Now it is a matter of eating healthy. Now healthy eating is not only about the foods that you eat but how you eat your food. Everyones body is different. As we age we must also realize that our body cannot tolerate foods that we did long ago, back in our youth.  Youth can now be known as the 40’s. Some people do well having 3 meals a day. Others do well with 6 small meals throughout the day. What we need to know is what works best for you.  I know the holiday’s caused havoc on my digestive system. Way too much food at one time. As our body changes, we must adjust the way we eat. I am now at a point in my life that I must adjust my own eating patterns. I must cut out the eating past 10:00pm rule , well more like 11:00pm rule.  I really need to stick to that unless it is a special occasion. I love cold leftover Chinese food. Now I am finding that the foods I love, are not returning it.  That kind of sucks. Well there we go talking about adjustments. What I am now going to be working on is my own personal food management. I am going with the plan of 6 small meals a day. I need to space my food intake throughout the day so that I am not hungry and eating healthy foods. I am no longer waiting till 3pm to first eat. Those days are done. I will not go past (a time TBD) without eating any more. I will carry crackers with me and I will eat as I dictate. You must follow your schedule making time and allowances for meals. All of this is attainable providing you are in good general health, and a self determination to eat healthy.  Anyway I have a rotisserie chicken for dinner tonight.  Stay well  and safe my fans and Bon Appetit.
