St. Patrick’s Day
Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day. I was in the city all day long. I did not go to the parade, but rally wanted to. I had my annual St. Patrick’s Day dinner with my friends Alan and Glenda. We started this tradition many years ago. We took turns having dinner at each others house. this year they hosted the dinner.I made Irish Soda Bread. I looked through many recipes. Some called for cold butter, some for softened butter and I even saw for one for canola oil. I picked the one with the softened butter. It came out delicious. The second one I made the butter was not that soft and I added a pinch more sugar. It also was delicious. The recipe can be found on my bonappetitmom recipes page.
