Salad and Roast Chicken Again
I really want to lose my 3 pounds again. I noticed that there was quite a bit of iron in my kale and brussel sprouts salad. I think that was having an effect on my gastro system, I am now back to romaine lettuce and other salad toppings. I can add the kale mix but it cannot be the main salad item. I think the kale mix was too hard on my system. I ate the romaine salad with mushrooms and roasted chicken. It was boring but filling. The scale reacted nicely this morning. I also am staying away from salt. Chicken salad while having a bit of mayo is better than herring salad that contains sugar and salt. The herring is salty enough, and although a bit lower in calories, I find the chicken salad to e a bit better. Tonight it will be chicken and salad again. Since my daughter is not home, there is no need to cook. I will start cooking again, maybe I will make turkey meatballs tonight instead of roasted chicken. Tonight I will be making beef liver for Mr. Max so while the oven is on, I just might make turkey meatballs or maybe I will make chicken meatballs. That would be a nice change.
