Sloppy Joe’s
Sloppy Joe’s became dinner last night. My daughter has having a sore throat and I decided to make something soft for dinner. I decided to make it with San Marzano tomatoes and ketchup. I used Worcestershire sauce but as I was coming to an end it tasted bland to me. I added mustard, fig jam, basil and extra garlic and saved my Sloppy Joe’s. I served it on a soft bun. It came out not horrible. I should have made my Sloppy Joe recipe that has been tried and tested and delicious. It was good but I like my original recipe better. I have been using my BBQ grill. I have been making grilled chicken sausage, hamburgers, grilled corn and peppers. The food has been coming out delicious. I have been really learning to use my grill. I have been controlling the temperature of the grill much better than I have in the past. Tonight starts the outdoor summer concert series. I think I will make a picnic of chicken sausage sandwiches with slaw topping. I will bring fresh fruit as a dessert bottles of cold water. Stay safe my fans and Bon Appetit.
