. I had the opportunity to dine in T.O.A. Asian Fusion restaurant at their Farmingdale. On the table was glasses of water and lovely mini teapot with low sodium soy sauce..I ordered the green tea which was served in a ceramic tea pot. The dishes were served on dishes with blue flowers which were very pretty.. I ordered the Pastrami Egg Rolls. Pastrami tossed with other vegetables wrapped in an egg roll wrapper and deep fried, served along with their Boom Boom sauce.This was so unique and delish. The Duck Negimaki was brilliant. Shredded duck, lettuce, avocado, and cucumber, with spicy mayo and red sauce.The lobster tacos, were a small fabulous bite of sweet juicy lobster in a delicate taco shell, with diced onion, bell pepper, mango sauce and cilantro aioli.the grilled baby back ribs were fall off the bone magnificent. The shrimp and avocado roll as well as the spicy salmon roll were quite tasty. Every dish that we had was fresh and looked delicious. When they say that you eat with your eyes first, this is how that statement was made
I was greeted by a lovely hostess, and was seated in a lovely booth. The restaurant has such a rich feel. Decorated with dark mahogany and beige lantern lights, it was so elegant and delightful. It was the most beautiful Asian restaurant I have dined in.The staff was lovely and each staff member had a designated job and did it very well. This establishment runs like a well oiled machine. There is a full service bar and three tv’s for viewing.
T.O.A. has four locations in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. If you are looking for delicious Asian Fusion in a beautiful restaurant, than you definitely need to give them a try. The food is original and unique. I can’t wait to go back.
