NY Burger Bar located in Massdapequa Park NY is a lovely establishment. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the lovely staff. I was seated immediately and was, given menus and an offering of the special beverages that were available. The menu has so many choices of fun and delicious appetizers to choose from. I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower, battered and fried and tossed in a spicy buffalo sauce with crumbles of blue cheese. It was very tasty. The fried cheese curds were also recommended and they were vey good. Wisconsin cheddar cheese curds, deep fried and it was served with a delicious maple aioli. I also ordered a Cosmopolitan with white cranberry juice which was delicious. For the entrees, the choices are varied. There is something for everyone. The salads looked fantastic, as well as the Mac and cheese dishes and the various chicken sandwiches. Now for the burgers.The burgers come in a variety of ways. There are chef specialty sandwiches and there is a build your own. The toppings to choose from are endless. The burgers are 8 ounces of delicious dry aged beef, Kobe beef or their own signature blend. There is also a turkey burger, Ahi tuna burger and a veggie burger. The Classic is their signature burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and a horseradish sauce that was divine. The Belmont Burger is an 8 ounce dry aged beef blend, with cheddar cheese, onion rings, cheddar cheese with a horseradish aioli, that was just delicious. Cooked to a perfect medium it was delicious. The beverages range from a classic NY egg cream to an amazing variety of milkshakes. I was treated to the upcoming special Maple-Bacon Milkshake. It was wonderful.
NY Burger Bar is beautiful upscale pup and has all of the charm of a vintage pup. To the homey feel and the beautiful and well stocked bar, I had a very warm and comfortable feeling. The staff was amazing. Everyone is super friendly and very helpful. They know the menu which is extensive. The food itself is just delish. The ambiance is just fabulous. You feel you are in a low key part of the country, but with a city feel. I love the wood floors and great art work on the walls. I love the unique vintage touches.
NY Burger Bar offers Trivia Night Mondays at 7pm. They are also introducing a night of board games. . I am excited to attend this event.The restaurant is always adding new special items to their menu NY Burger Bar is a gem. Don’t pass this establishment feel that everybody knows your name.
