Bareburger (Rockville Centre, is more than your average burger joint. As a kid growing up the only time I had burgers was at a family bbq, my mom’s dinner table or McDonalds. What a difference a few decades made. After the diners became around a pizza-burger was considered a big deal. Now you have Bareburger (Rockville Centre. The food is upscale burgers to the max. The choices of the different types of burgers is extensive. Some of the choices include beef, elk, bison, turkey and more. You can have a signature burger off the menu or you can build your own burger with a multitude of toppings to choose from. The variety of fries and sides are wonderful. You can have truffle fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, or even brussel sprouts to go with your entree. The starters are glorious from chicken wings, pickle chips, or goin back to cauli to name a few are so unique.The chicken wings were plump and covered in a spicy bbq sauce and garnished with pickled red onion and scallions.The goin back to cauli is a tempura cauliflower floret in a spicy kimchi, black sesame jalapeno bbq sauce. These appys were so full of flavor, just delicious. The salads at Bareburger are also varied. From a classic caesar, to a southwestern it one is mouthwatering. I had the Moroccan Salad which included grilled chicken, caulifower rice, chickpeas, picked red onion and a spicy green goddess dressing. The shakes are a masterpiece. With several varieties to choice from, I went with their signature salted caramel. That was really delicious.
Bareburger is all organic, all natural and it caters to every type of diet, They have many vegan choices. They offer keto, gluten free, and the chicken is nae* (no antibiotics ever).The Bareburger wait staff will also ask at each table if anyone has any food allergies. There are so many choices for people to choose from. It is such a varied menu that anyone with any dietary need can have a wonderful, healthy and delicious meal. Bareburger offs a full bar with many alcoholic specialties. Bareburger has a very nice kids menu. In addition each menu item includes the price and calorie count.
Bareburger is a lovely establishment. It is more of an upscale pub. The beautiful wood tables and chairs on the hardwood floors are just perfect and sets the mood for the fare you will be dining on. The banquettes that outlines thew back of the restaurant are lovely. the decor of the room is light hearted and the art work on the wall is eclectic. Upon arrival at the restaurant, you are greeted and promptly seated. The servers know the menu and offer their advice on what to order. The staff is polite and friendly. It was a treat going to Bareburger. Don’t misss it!
