Sausage Stuffing Cake
Ingredients
- 1 lb. sweet sausage
- 1 lb. spicy sausage
- 1/4 cup onion chopped
- 1/4 cup carrot chopped
- 1/4 cup celery chopped
- 5 cups chicken stock
- 2-3 tbsp. poultry seasoning
- 1-2 tbsp. kosher salt
- 1-2 tbsp. pepper
- 1/2 cup white wine
Instructions
- In a skillet saute the sausage until cooked through(about 5 minutes and it is brown). Remove the sausage with a slotted spoon. Add the carrots, celery and onion to the drippings and saute for a few minutes. Add the sausage back to the pan. Add the bread stuffing and mix till combined. Add the wine, and chicken stock. Add the poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix together. Bake in a spring form pan for 30 minutes at 350°F. Enjoy with turkey or roasted chicken. Bon Appetit.
