Bone Marrow Broth

Ingredients
- 3 bone marrow bones
- 1/2 cup diced carrot
- 1/2 cup dicd celery
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- rosemary sprigs
- thyme sprigs
- 3-4 cloves garlic smashed
- 1-2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1-2 tsp. pepper
Instructions
- Place the bone marrow bones in a pot with the carrots, celery, onions, thyme, rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper. Fill the pot with water. Cook for 6 hours adding water as needed to keep the bones submerged. You can make this broth in a slow cooker according to the directions on your slow cooker.Check for seasoning before you end the cooking. Let the soup cool and refrigerate over night. Skim the fat off of the soup and strain out the veggies and spices. Pour the broth into individual servings. Sip and enjoy with a sandwich or salad or as is. Bon Appetit.
