Grandma's Apple Cake

Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced apples
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tap. cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- lemon for apples
Instructions
- Slice 4 cups of apples, squeeze some lemon juice and set aside. In a mixing bowl add the rest of the ingredients except the butter. Lay the bottom of a pie dish with the apples. Pour the batter on top of the apples. Pour the melted butter on top of the apples. Bake in a preheated 350° F for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy warm with a scoop of ice cream. Bon Appetit.
