I had the wonderful opportunity to try the Sampler Pack from Cameron’s Seafood located in Rockville, MD. In the Sampler Pack was Maryland Blue Crabs, Spiced Shrimp, Seafood Soup, and Maryland Crab Cakes. Each product was expertly packed and shipped in a 24 hour or less time frame. The Sampler Pack came in a cooler with ice packs that encased every item. Each item had very easy and specific cooking and eating directions. This made the Cameron’s Seafood dining experience a very memorable one. I also needed to call the company and everyone was so friendly and helpful.
The Maryland Crab Meat Bisque was thick, luxurious and filled with crab meat. This soup was sweet and very flavorful. All that was needed was to heat the soup in a small saucepan. I fried the lump crab cakes to perfection and they were fabulous. The crab meat was so sweet and tasty, All I needed was a wedge of lemon. The Spiced Shrimp were just that spicy delicious. The shrimp were jumbo and wonderful. I had the shrimp over spinach, but they would have been fabulous over pasta. The Maryland Blue Crabs were fantastic. Yes you need a mallet, cracker and bib, but it was well worth the mess. The crabs were sweet and succulent. Bursting with flavor, I skipped the butter all together. Everything that came in The sampler Pack from Cameron’s Seafood was marvelous. They are definitely worth the 24 hour wait to get them, and I can’t wait to try the other offerings they have.
