Turkey Breast with Rosemary and Lemon

Ingredients

  • 1 turkey breast boneless
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsps. chopped garlic in oil
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • sprigs rosemary
  • 2 tbsp. chopped rosemary
  • 1 lemon slicd for decoration
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. dried italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Wash and pat dry the turkey breast. Place in a ziploc bag that has room to add the marinade. In a measuring cup add the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, chopped rosemary, lemon juice, lemon zest, dried oregano and italian seasoning. Whisk together and put it in the ziploc bag with the turkey breast. Zip up the bag and smoosh everything together. Let it marinade in the refrigerator for at least 2hours or more. Place in a baking dish and cook 20 minutes per pound or an internal temperature of 165°F. Serve with homemade applesauce. Bon Appetit.
