As soon as I entered Cafe Buenos Aires, I was transported to a cafe in Argentina. I was greeted right away by the lovely staff. I saw this amazing full stocked bar that went the length of the restaurant. On the side were small tables that you can sit and enjoy a drink and bar menu. There was a wall that divided the bar from the restaurant. There is a two step walk into the restaurant where you can overlook to see the entire restaurant. With dark wood, white paint and sleek decor, Cafe Buenos Aires is truly elegant and charming. In the back part of the restaurant is an area for dancing. They offer Tango Night every Wednesday evening. The beautiful tango dancers were incredible. The tango from what I learned was meant for two women to dance in Argentina. The dancers were stunning and it was wonderful watching them dance.

As we were watching them dance, our waiter came over with menus and offering drinks. We ordered a pitcher of  white Sangria. The pitcher of Sangria was beautiful. A delicious white wine with nice sized pieces of fresh fruit. There were different types of apples and oranges and it was refreshing and delicious. The restaurant offered a lovely menu and a price fixe menu as well. The price fixe menu had such wonderful offerings that we decided to go with that menu. For the appetizers we ordered the Seafood Croquettes over greens with a slightly spicy aioli.  You could taste the seafood with every bite.We also had the beef and chicken empanadas. The crust  on the empanadas was divine. It was just so flaky and filled with a wonderful filling. For our entree the choices were very varied. Each each so appetizing, that it was hard to choice. We ordered the Gaucho Steak, flap steak served slice with melted blue cheese, mashed potato, peppers, onions and mushrooms in a Malbec red wine sauce, (recommended medium rare). It was divine The meat was cooked perfect medium rare and the blue cheese added a fantastic flavor. The mashed potaotes were heavenly, and the vegetables were insanely good in that delicious Malbec sauce. We also ordered the Paella, saffron rice, with seafood, chicken and chorizo. The amount of seafood was tremendous. The shrimp were just outstanding as well as the clams and the mussels over the most flavorable saffron rice. For dessert the offering was Flan, caramel custard with Dulche de Leche was absolutely lovely.

Cafe Buenos aires was a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant transports you to a different country, with foods from Argentina cooked perfectly. The service was outstanding and the Tango Night was such a treat. The prices were very reasonable for the offering and the portions were generous as well. I am definitely planning a return trip to Cafe Buenos Aires, because  the Argentinian experience was something that I want to redo again.
