At the end of 2015, The Bacon Jams @thebaconjams reached out to me and asked me to see what I could do with their product. They sent me a jar of he original bacon jams spread,and when I first tasted the bacon jams, I was amazed how wonderful it was. The original bacon jam was sweet, bacony, with a great texture that feels wonderful when tasting it. I also began to think of what I could do with it. With the holiday’s approaching, I thought of appetizers. I purchased frozen fillo shells. I put about 1/2 tsp. of the jam in each shell, using them in accordance with the directions on the box. I topped each with some shredded cheddar cheese and for some variety, ricotta cheese. I baked them up and they were divine. I then started to see what other ways, I could use them. One way was on top of my Eggveggieuffins. The bacon jams sent me the other varieties, the red chile and garlic flavor and the black pepper flavored jam.I have made so many things with these jams including meatballs, a glaze over fish, a topping for a sandwich, etc. The bacon jams is such a versatile product. The uses for the bacon jams are endless. I cannot recommend this product enough. You will definitely get your moneys worth upon purchase and more so.
