Fast Food III
Yesterday I took my daughter shopping. By 6:00 we were ready for dinner. I asked what she wanted and the answer was KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken). I really did not want it because of the fat and salt content. Against my better judgement I gave in. I ordered the chicken tenders withe cole slaw and mashed potatoes. The girl put the gravy on the potato. We came home watched and ate to the South Park episode in which they shut down all of the KFC’s in Colorado. They opened in there a place where they sold medicinal marijana. Anyway I shared my chicken with Mr. Max. By the time we finished we could not get enough water to get rid of all of the salt we consumed. There was so much salt in the food that my craving for KFC has been satisfied for the rest of my life. Never again. The chicken was dry not juicy. The mashed potatoes were salty and watery with no flavor. For a few extra dollars I could have gotten pizza from Mario’s down the block and I would have known that I was eating a much fresher product. So much for KFC. Stay safe my fans and Bon Appetit.
