Drinking water is the way to go if you want to shed some unwanted pounds. It is filling, refreshing and there are no calories. It quenches your thirst, and at the same time helps the hunger pass. It also contains no sugar, salt or fat. It helps rid the body of toxins that are working there way through your bodily systems. It will also make you go to the bathroom more easily. It is the perfect beverage. You can add a slice of lemon or lime for some flavor.  It is the purest drink around and thankfully always available. I find that when I drink water before a meal, I will get fuller faster. Since I love to eat, that is a wonderful thing. When in front of me  is a piece of cake or a bottle of water, I move my hand over to the water. Even though I might want the cake, my choice is the water. It really is a matter of discipline. It is hard but it takes a lot of practice. I can not emphasize enough how important drinking water is to help in maintaining weight.
