Heat Wave in NY
It is hot in NY. It is extremely hard to cook when it is like pea soup outside. It was also my nephews birthday and July 4th weekend. My daughter and I ate at my sisters every night. Now that the holiday is over, I will start to cook again. I went to Shoprite yesterday and I bought ground turkey and chicken cutlets. I am not sure how I will prepare them. It depends on how I feel during the day. I am planning to make a salad. I also need to clean my grill. I am not sure if the humidity will allow me to do that. If the humidity is over 80% I will clean the grill later in the week and cook inside on the stove top. I now know why I enjoy the fall and winter even better, I think I strive better in the cold. It is so much nicer to put on a sweater, then it is to take clothes off. I also love putting on the oven to warm the house than to have the air conditioners running all day long. But since Mr. Max and my daughter need the air, this is how it must be. Stay safe my fans and Bon Appetit.
