A Lovely compliment on my Stuffed Cabbage
Yesterday I sent my stuffed cabbage home with my dad and his lady friend for their dinner last night. We were talking about food and cooking. My dad’s friend mentioned my stuffed cabbage and I told them I had some in my freezer. I asked if they wanted it for dinner, and they said yes. I sent them home with the stuffed cabbage and two rolls. Later on that evening I received a phone call from my dad’s friend telling me how much she enjoyed the stuffed cabbage. We spoke of what some of the ingredients were in my stuffed cabbage. She asked if brown sugar was added and I told her it was just plain white sugar. She loved that my stuffed cabbage had raisins. What was nice was that we found a common bond of cooking. I invited her to come and cook with me and I would teach her how to make frittata. We had a lovely conversation over food, which is always my favorite conversation to talk about. It really is nice to just be complimented on your food and know that is appreciated. It is the highest compliment that anyone can give, especially when your heart is into food and cooking. I love to cook.
