Lambchops for dinner
Since we had pizza Friday night, I decided to cook last night. I took out lambchops. I broiled them with evoo, salt and pepper. My daughter enjoyed them. I made spinach (I know it was the third time this week). My daughter loves my spinach and frankly it was the only vegetable that I had left. I made garlic toast. The garlic toast was just toasted Italian bread left over from Mario’s from the night before. I rubbed the dry toasted bread with a garlic clove. I did not use evoo. I was trying to cut the calories because we were eating the lamb. By now my freezer is empty. I have officially cooked everything in there. I must go shopping today and since I need meat and produce, it will be a Fairway shopping. Besides I have a $10.00 off coupon if I spend $75.00. I don’t think that I will be a problem spending $75.00 in Fairway. I have finally been sleeping a bit better, not great, but I find that I am not as hungry as I have been over the last few weeks. I also made eggs again for lunch, this time I used spinach instead of scallions and it was really good. I know that I must limit my eggs to only three times a week, due to the cholesterol problem. By the way I do not have a cholesterol problem, I’m just not looking for one. I have a sisterhood breakfast at the Plainview Jewish Center at 10am this morning. I do not like breakfast functions. My stomach is never up that early. It is also the first time I am leaving my daughter this early in the morning. I need to have breakfast for her before I go. We discussed it last night and I will leave her a bowl of cereal before I leave.. I’m sure she will be alright for an hour or so. It is a cool day so when I return it is back to the garage, more laundry and Fairway. It will be a very busy day. Stay safe my fans and Bon Appetit.
