Winthrop 30 somewhat years later
It is funny how much I missed Winthrop JHS, when I left there after seven years of teaching. Now I am at Winthrop Hospital day six. I think I would rather be in Brooklyn. I have not cooked since last Tuesday. The food here is starting to get to me. My daughter says it is fine. I don’t get it. I thought I raised her better than that. I would have hoped her culinary tastes were more on par with mine. But whose to say what some people like. I am hoping that given a choice of foods prepared by me or the hospital that mine would win hands down. Can you imagine if she picks the hospital food over mine? Yikes I would have to come to the hospital and get her food every day. I just dropped dad off at the airport. We left the hospital at five this morning. I think I know every one here on a first name basis. It is very early Sunday morning. It snowed last night and it is cold out today. I never fear because when my daughter is going to be discharged they are predicting a snow storm. At least there will be no stairs involved. Stay warm and safe my friends and Bon Appetit.
