Oscar Night
Every now and then, I cheat and do appetizers for dinner. Oscar night is one of them. I had pigs in a blanket and junk. I know how to make pigs in a blanket from scratch, but times being what they are I cheated and bought frozen. I did buy cod for dinner which has been pushed to Wednesday night. Tonight it is back to the grind. For dinner it will be a BBQ because the weather will tap out at 45° F. It is a heat wave in NY. Dad wants a BBQ and I will make a tasty marinade for whatever meat is on sale. I will make roasted potatoes and a green vegetable. I think I need to make a soup or a stew because it is going to snow tomorrow night. Dad wants cabbage soup, so I will buy ingredients to make the soup. I have not used my slow cooker for a while.
