Happy and Healthy New Year
Happy New Year. May 2013 be a year of peace, wealth and health for all. New Years Eve was very nice. My child and I went to the movies and we had movie popcorn for dinner. I know you are thinking “And she is a nutritionist”. Yes I am a nutritionist, last night we played hooky, from nutritionally sound eating and had fun. I skipped on the butter but we enjoyed it and had a very nice time. I don’t make new years resolutions because they would have been broken by noon. We woke up late. I had my coffee and we left the house. She had lunch at my sister’s and I had red vines at my friends. For dinner it was Chinese and Italian for desert.
The real nutritional eating will start tomorrow. I have ground turkey in the fridge, and I am thinking of making turkey chili. It will be great on a cold winter’s night. I just checked, I have chili powder. I have vegetables, and beans. It will be really good. I must say I love winter food. They are so comforting. Simple ingredients just make the best dishes. I will make a salad and serve it before the chili. I think I will have fresh fruit for desert. It is a good thing all of the fatty deserts are at my sister’s house and out of reach. To my fans stay safe, and Bon Appetit.
