Sandy is on the warpath
Hurricane Sandy is coming to town. Named after my mom, this is one hurricane that isn’t going to fool around. With ground turkey in the fridge, I made really good turkey meatballs. I used Italian dressing and they came out yummy. I will put it on my recipe page. Anyway they are moist and flavorful. I’m not sure of when the power is going to go but, I’m sure I will be doing a lot of cooking before it’s over.
It has not started to rain, but it is really windy. Mr Max does not seem happy about the storm. He doesn’t like the rain or the snow, ice wind or anything other than a nice fall day. This should be fun. My sister and nieces were here. We had some coffee and cake. Plain bakery cake. I’m really not to sure if I should bake. I don’t want cake batter all over my oven especially if I lose power. At least I have gas cooking and a grill. Oh well. I will blog tomorrow unless I don’t have power. Be safe all.
