Ingredients

  • 2 cans chick peas drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 cup tahini
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4-1/2 cup ice water
  • olive oil drizzle
  • sumac optional

Instructions

  • Drain and rinse the chick peas. Put the chick peas and garlic in a food processor. Pulse a few times. Add the lemon, tahini and salt. Pulse. Stream the water while the food processor is on until you get a fluffy consistency. Plate up the hummus and drizzle with olive oil and top with sumac. Enjoy with a glass of Sangria. Bon Appetit.
