Dissolve gelatin completely in the boiling water. Add ice cubes and stir until gelatin is thickened. Then remove any unmelted ice. Now use a wire whisk and blend in cool whip, whip until smooth. Fold in the strawberries. Chill if necessary, until mixture will mold. spoon into cooled pie crust. Decorate with the extra strawberries. Chill 2 hours before serving. Enjoy with a cup of coffee.
