Cabbage Soup with TBJ Gourmet

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle V8 Tomato Juice any variety
  • 1 28 oz. can diced tomato
  • 1 head cabbage sliced thin
  • 3 carrots sliced thin
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2-3 tbsp. bacon jams

Instructions

  • In a crockpot add all the ingredients except the bacon jams. Cook until the cabbage is soft. Times will vary depending on your slow cooker. You can also do this in a dutch oven on the stove top. Serve with a heaping portion of the bacon jams. For a lovely dinner serve the soup with a salad and a glass of wine. Bon Appetit.
